Iraq edit ๐ฎ๐ถ (ENTERTAINMENT AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, NO HATE IS INTENDED) @๐ข๐ช๐๐ธ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ธ๐๐ธ๐ป๐ช ๊จ Iraq has one of the oldest and most influential histories in the world, beginning with ancient Mesopotamia, often called the Cradle of Civilisation, where the Sumerians developed one of the earliest writing systems around 3500 BC. The region later became home to powerful empires, including the Akkadian, Babylonian and Assyrian empires, which contributed to mathematics, astronomy, law, architecture and military organisation. After the Persian conquest of Babylon in 539 BC, Iraq was ruled by several empires, including the Persians, Greeks and Parthians, before becoming a major centre of the Sasanian Empire. In the seventh century AD, Arab Muslim armies conquered the region, introducing Islam and making it part of the expanding Islamic world. In 762, the Abbasid Caliphate established Baghdad as its capital, transforming it into one of the world's greatest centres of science, medicine, philosophy and literature during the Islamic Golden Age. However, Baghdad was devastated by the Mongol invasion in 1258, marking a major turning point in its history. Iraq subsequently experienced rule by various regional dynasties and empires, including the Ottoman Empire, which controlled much of the region for centuries until the First World War. Following the Ottoman defeat, Britain occupied Iraq, and the Kingdom of Iraq was established in 1921 before gaining formal independence in 1932. In 1958, a military revolution overthrew the monarchy and established a republic. The Ba'ath Party later rose to power, with Saddam Hussein becoming president in 1979. His rule was marked by the IranโIraq War (1980โ1988), the invasion of Kuwait in 1990, international sanctions and the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, which overthrew his government. The following years brought political instability, sectarian violence and the rise of the Islamic State (ISIS), which captured significant Iraqi territory in 2014 before being territorially defeated in Iraq in 2017. Today, Iraq is a republic with an extraordinarily rich historical and cultural heritage, shaped by thousands of years of civilisation, conquest, scientific achievement and political transformation. #FYP #FY #Iraq #History #creatorsearchinsights

- THE FRENCH EMPEROR | Napoleon Bonaparte (1769โ1821) was Emperor of the French from 1804 to 1814 and again in 1815. Born in Corsica, he advanced through the artillery ranks during the French Revolution, securing prominence following the siege of Toulon in 1793 and the Italian campaign of 1796โ1797. In 1799, he orchestrated the Coup of 18 Brumaire, overthrew the Directory, and established the French Consulate as First Consul. He subsequently consolidated political authority, culminating in his coronation as Emperor in 1804. His domestic administration instituted comprehensive institutional and legal centralisation. The Napoleonic Code of 1804 codified civil law across the empire, establishing statutory legal equality, secular authority over civil state matters, and protection of property rights. Economic restructuring included the founding of the Banque de France and tax reform, while the Concordat of 1801 re-established formal relations with the Papacy to secure domestic stability. Foreign policy was defined by the Napoleonic Wars against successive European coalitions. Operational command delivered victories at Austerlitz, Jena-Auerstedt, and Friedland, restructuring continental geopolitics and expanding French dominion. Strategic vulnerability emerged through the economic enforcement of the Continental System, prolonged conflict in the Peninsular War, and the attrition of the 1812 invasion of Russia. Following the Sixth Coalitionโs entry into Paris in 1814, Napoleon abdicated and entered exile on Elba. His political return during the Hundred Days in 1815 concluded with defeat at the Battle of Waterloo, leading to permanent exile on Saint Helena, where he died in 1821. #napoleon #napoleonbonaparte #frenchhistory #History #napoleonicwars@Drip Historian
- The children who surpassed their parents I suppose the video is self-explanatory. If you're unfamiliar with the historical context, here it is: The primary European nations that colonized the Americas were Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, France, and the Netherlands, along with smaller colonial efforts by Sweden, Denmark-Norway, Russia, and Courland. Major Colonial Powers * Spain: Established the earliest and vastest empire in the Americas, controlling most of South America (except Brazil), Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and large parts of the present-day southern and western United States. * Portugal: Colonized South America east of the Tordesillas Line, which developed into modern-day Brazil. * Great Britain (England): Focused on eastern North America (the Thirteen Colonies and Canada), as well as several Caribbean islands (e.g., Jamaica, Barbados). * France: Claimed extensive territories in North America (New France, including Eastern Canada, the Great Lakes, and the Mississippi River basin) and key Caribbean islands like Saint-Domingue (Haiti). * The Netherlands: Established New Netherland (centered around present-day New York) in North America, as well as territories in the Caribbean (Dutch West Indies) and northern South America (Suriname). Minor Colonial Powers * Sweden: Founded New Sweden (1638โ1655) along the Delaware River in North America, and later briefly held Saint Barthรฉlemy in the Caribbean. * DenmarkโNorway: Colonized the Danish West Indies (the modern U.S. Virgin Islands) in the Caribbean and established colonies in Greenland. * Russia: Colonized Russian America (present-day Alaska) from the mid-18th century until its sale to the United States in 1867. * Duchy of Courland: Briefly established a small colony on the Caribbean island of Tobago in the 17th century. I didn't include the other countries because honestly it's a pain, and in my opinion the most relevant countries were the UK, Spain, France, and Portugal since they had a lot of influence. #countryballs #History #countryball #polandball #edit@๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โขโก
